What are the different levels of identity validation ?
The blockchainID.me solution adapts to different requirements, from simply registering on a dApp, to entering into commercial transaction with one or multiple parties. blockchainID.me offers identity validation solutions to individual, legal entity, and merchant alike.
The level of identity validation a merchant can obtain from a user is limited by the type and level of identity validation the merchant has met. For example, a merchant who is only verified M1 cannot request a new user to comply to a level of identity or KYC/AML validation higher than L1.
We use the term merchant broadly. In these pages, the term merchant includes any service-providers and third-parties to which you would agree to provide proof of your identity or a KYC/AML compliance certificate.
